On Tuesday, August 2, 2018, the Joplin Branch of American Association of University Women (AAUW), hosted a candidate forum on the campus of Missouri Southern State University.  Pictured above is Susan Haggerty, President of the Joplin AAUW Branch and  Diane Reid Adams, AAUW member and City of Joplin Council Member.

The Joplin branch hosted the forum for candidates in contested primary elections in southwest Missouri.  The primary focus of the forum was higher education funding and policy.  The event was well attended by approximately 100 southwest Missouri residents.  Pictures of the event follow.
